Academy of Natural Science

As part of Drexel University, the Academy has been a leader on the east coast of natural sciences. Besides their museum which hundreds of thousands of visitors explore each year, they conduct countless research and conservatory projects. They also provide educational workshops throughout the tristate region.

Philadelphia’s Dinosaur Museum is bringing natural science programming to Mercer County! Go back in time and into the wild with fun hands-on experiments, real prehistoric fossils, and cool scientific specimens. Each week, campers will get a visit from the animals of the Academy of Natural Sciences and go face-to -face with live birds, mammals, reptiles, and bugs and then meet the critters that share their neighborhood on local hiking trips with Academy naturalists. Campers will also take a trip each week to the museum for a special behind-the-scenes look at everything from our towering dinosaurs to our buzzing beehive.
It’s all the fun of Academy Science Camp (including our expert educators) without the drive to Philadelphia!

Drone STEM Camp

Drobots

Drobots Company out of Maryland teaches this STEM program throughout the County. The primary goal of any Drobots Company program is to mentor participants on how to become lifelong learners and instill a strong sense of curiosity, confidence and teamwork. Due to the exponential growth of the drone industry, kids and teens may now explore, learn and evolve along with the applications of today and the discoveries of tomorrow.
